2024-2 Semi-Annual Extraction Statements coming soon!

2024-2 Semi-Annual Extraction Statements (SAES) for reporting groundwater extractions occurring between April 1, 2024, and September 30, 2024, will be available at FCGMAOnline.org, soon. The Online Reporting User Guide will be updated for the 2024-2 reporting period to assist in navigating FCGMAOnline.org, upload meter photos, report readings, and more. Hard copies of 2024-2 SAES will be mailed via USPS to Oxnard, Pleasant Valley (OPV) & Las Posas Valley (LPV) operator addresses on file.

Online reporting is encouraged, or you may submit written SAES via mail, addressed to FCGMA or delivered at the Ventura County Government Center Hall of Administration. Please note that Fox Canyon’s service counter has moved to the 3rd floor at the top of the escalator. To schedule an in-person, phone, or video appointment email FCGMA.Report@ventura.org to ensure adequate staff availability.

Collect meter readings and photos on Monday, September 30, 2024, for the 2024-2 reporting period.

  • Label photos with date, CombCode, state well number, and serial number
  • Images must be legible and contain totalizer reading, units and multiplier
  • Digital meters with multiple screens may require more than one image to satisfy the meter photo requirement
  • See manufacturer specifications for details regarding your meter
  • Submitted images not containing this information will be returned and subject to non-compliance measures in accordance with Resolution 2019-1

Penalties and Interest

(1) Statements submitted after the due date incur a Civil Penalty of $50 a day.

(2) An Extraction Interest Charge of 1.5% is charged for every month the statement and/or payment is overdue. (Extraction charge x 1.5% x month(s) overdue)

(3) A Surcharge Late Penalty of 1.5% is charged for every month the statement and/or payment is overdue. (Surcharge x 1.5% x month(s) overdue)

(4) Any delinquent Non-Metered Water Use Fee obligations shall also be charged interest at the rate of 1.5% per month on any unpaid balances.

(5) Non-compliance with Advanced Metering Infrastructure is subject to a Civil Penalty of $50 per day.

(6) Non-compliance with monthly extraction reporting is subject to a Civil Penalty of $50 per day.

 

Payment Options

(1) Check or Money Order: Please make all payment payable to Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency.

Write your CombCode and SAES reporting period in the memo field of your check (for example, XYZ CombCode 2024-1 SAES).

If you decide to mail payment and would like a return receipt, send via Certified Mail.

(2) Cash: Please submit your payment in person at our public service counter (address listed above).

Please note that Fox Canyon’s service counter is located in the Ventura County Hall of Administration Building on the 3rd floor at the top of the escalator.

  • Upon entering the Hall of Administration, cross the lobby and take the escalator up one floor.
  • The public service counter will be directly in front of you as you exit the escalator.
  • Check in with the coordinator behind the reception desk, and they’ll show you to our seating area farther down the counter. They’ll contact us to come up and meet with you.

We encourage you to schedule an in-person or remote appointment ahead of time to ensure adequate staff availability by emailing FCGMA.report@ventura.org with “Reporting Appointment Request” in the email subject line.

FCGMA staff will be available to assist in-person, by phone and email during business hours. The office is normally closed from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

Change is not available at the public service counter, but the Tax Collector reception area on the Main Plaza floor might be available to make change.
