Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency will hold 5-Year Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Evaluation workshops for the Las Posas Valley Basin, Oxnard Subbasin, and Pleasant Valley Basin, and the draft documents for each Basin are now available for your review prior to the workshops.

Oxnard & Pleasant Valley Basins (OPV): Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 6 – 8 pm

The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) requires periodical evaluation of GSPs at least every 5 years.  The upcoming workshops are intended for review and comment on the 5-Year GSP Evaluation draft documents.

We encourage you to access the draft documents ahead of time in case you would like to prepare comments. Submit written comments to FCGMA prior to close of business (COB) on Monday, October 7^th, 2024. Written comments received on or before October 7 will be considered for inclusion in the final draft evaluations. Please send written comments to FCGMA@ventura.org.

Please note that these workshops will be held in-person only. Both workshops will be held in the LPAR, which is located one floor below the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room (where the FCGMA Board usually holds its meetings). After entering the Hall of Administration, walk across the lobby to the stairs leading down from the escalator, and take the stairs to the lower level. As you exit the stairs, you’ll see doors to the LPAR and the cafeteria to your left. Enter the doors closest to the vending machines; that is the entry into the assembly room.
