Water Year 2024 Annual Allocations Update

On September 25, 2024, Watermaster adopted the Annual Allocations for Water Year 2024 (WY 2024). (Per the LPV Judgment, WY 2024 spans from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.) Also on September 25, 2024, Watermaster adopted a Basin Assessment for WY 2024. Unlike FCGMA fees, Basin Assessments are based on a Water Right Holder’s Annual Allocation rather than the amount of groundwater extracted during a reporting period. The amount of the WY 2024 Basin Assessment is $64.58 per Acre Foot ($64.58/AF) of Allocation and is to be invoiced in four equal installments ($16.145/AF); see table below for schedule. Installment payments not received within a month of their respective due date are considered delinquent and shall bear interest at the current real property tax delinquency rate for Ventura County per the Judgment.
